Both are through-coloured, so the colour runs through the render rather than sitting on top as paint. Silicone is flexible, breathable and self-cleaning, which keeps it looking fresh for longer. Monocouche is a robust one-coat render with a classic textured finish that's very low maintenance. We'll recommend the right one for your property when we visit.

In many cases yes, but it depends on the condition of what's underneath. Sometimes the best result comes from removing the pebble dash first and starting from a sound base. We'll assess it and tell you honestly which approach will give the longer-lasting finish.

Render needs the right conditions to cure, so very cold or wet weather can affect timing. We plan the work around the forecast and won't apply render in conditions that would compromise the finish. It's part of doing the job properly rather than quickly.
